Looking for a bolt...

Post by BlueCrush »

It is for the bottom mount of the intake manifold on the 1ZZ. If anyone can tell me any info about it: Size, thread or better yet, a part#. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I know it has an 8mm thread, because on the s/c that's where the support bracket sits.(the replacement bolt is 8mmx45mm-which is longer than stock)Wish I had a part # for ya.

Thanks, Kev. I'll keep that info in mind if I have to go to the hardware store to find a replacement. In the meantime, while I'm waiting for my gasket set to arrive, if someone knows a part#, please post it up.

I picked up the bolt and installed it last night. This morning my idle was pretty rough until the engine warmed up. I tightened it by hand and might have made it too tight. I'm guessing this is the idle hunting issue. I'll see if it does it again at lunch then loosen the bolt a little to see if that helps.
