I second the short ram. That is what I originally had, but then I switched over to the full CAI. A year later, and I cut the CAI in half so I can have a short ram again lol.
K+N offers an SRI as well. I'm not sure about any other companies.

Cosmo is the most cost effective out of them all,But the filters on the cosmo aren't very good. The rest are over the 200 dollar range, but have good filters.

I wasn't impressed with the filter - the rest of the intake is well done though.

SO should I get a Cosmo SRI? The quality of the filter and hoses really does not look impressive; that is for sure.Unless I bite the bullet and get a K&N SRI. Hmm...Cosmo, change out the hoses and go with a AEM Dryflow?

I ran the Cosmo filter on my '04 for 3 years with no problems. I drive on a lot of dusty dirt roads and never saw any evidence of fine particles getting into the intake tube. I cleaned it once a year and lightly oiled it with a K&N kit. As far as the actual intake goes, it's a metal tube with a couple of connectors, why pay more for a name.
