Sorry for this duplicate post but I really need an answer.Hey guys,I just got rear-ended on the highway (at low speed). My bumper was wrecked so did the metal shield under. The total repair was $4138, at the cost of the other party's insurance company of course. I sent in for repair at a local GM dealer bodyshop. The job's done but the problem is that I'm not happy with it at all. There are scratches on the bumper, there's a particle stuck under the paint, the paint grains are incredibly uneven and doesn't fit with the rest of the car, AND the new OEM bumber isn't even properly aligned with the rest of the car.For a $4000+ job, I'd expect a little more.I plan to take it back to the bodyshop and have them correct the defects. Knowing the car will never go back to the way it was before, I'm now seeking for diminished value settlements for my 3-months-old car. How should I proceed?Where should I go for such evaluation? Thanks in advance.
