Arizonian Tires?

has anyone ran these on a Vibe? Was looking at a set today online. Arizonian Silver Edition specifically. Looks like they got pretty good reviews on the Discount Tire website, just wondered if anyone had any personal experience with them? Dry, Wet, Snow? My back two need replaced front two are pretty new, but no longer in production.

Never herd of'em... I ask you though, do you trust your life ant the life of your family on a brand that nobodies herd of? (not that I'm anybody)I think I have a tire fetish or something, cause I feel like I'm harping on people all the time, which I'm not, but I DO want to keep my Vibers safe... The rubber is the only thing between your car and the road AND it's one of the cheaper was of increasing performance (not performance like the car in my Sig, everyday performance)Take for instance an 80kmi tire... What do they have to do to make that go 80kmi? Well, they have to make it durable, which means they have to make the compound hard... Soft rubber wears faster, but performs better (think summer performance tire) Hard rubber lasts longer and wears better, but braking performance is decreased, wet pavement handling is decreased, heck dry pavement handling is decreased... Again, I'm not trying to get you to buy a performance tire, not at all, but, I'm trying to make you think about going cheap(and believe me, I understand the economy is bad ATM), with all the valuables you carry in the car (you and yours).. thanks for the feedback guys, Did a little more searching, I guess they are made my Kelly. I'll keep looking around. Just don't care much for the Contact Touring Pro's that are on it now, might just be because it has 3 different versions of the same tire.Sublime, I'm with you on the soft tire thing, had some Avon's on a bike, only lasted 3k but could ride to the end of the road and they were hot and sticky, and some Metzler's that lasted 10k but after 3 miles would still break loose.

Arizonians are excellent tires. They have to pass the same govt. tests/inspections the major brands do. Just because they don't spend millions of $ in advertising doesn't make them a cheap/bad tire.

Went ahead and bought the Arizonian. Hopefully they workout, if not, just get something else.

How do they ride? What tire did you have before? Road noise? I saw their web site. Looks like a Discount Tire and Discount Tire Direct only product. They look to have a fairly aggressive tread pattern. Give us your impression when you get a chance.

So far so good on the ride. had 3 different versions of the continental contact pro that came with the car. Haven't noticed the road noise yet, but its like 0 and my drive is only like 15 minutes right now. tires look more aggressive because I had them siped. I'll update when I can get some miles on them.

If they're made by Kelly I wouldn't think they'll be too bad... I had two sets of Big O brand tires that were made by them and had great luck with those. Turns out, Goodyear is the parent company for Kelly.

Ok, little review after doing a little bit of driving on the new tires. There's some road noise, its not bad to me, but take that for what its worth. Was used to a no exhaust diesel with oversized BFG's. Traction in snow I was pretty good. So far no real wet just snow or ice.

Sometime I wonder if the Vibe is even running. Sorry I guess I worded that wrong. It had a Stage II AFE Intake to a Full 4" Turbo back MBRP Exhaust system with a 5" tip. Just no muffler or anything. Free Flowing might be a better term. That exhaust note was better than a shift light.

Pick41How are your Arizonians holding up? I'm gonna get a set of the Silver Edition Plus installed this weekend.Let me know, if you can. If anyone else had these brand of tires put on I would like to hear before I 'pull the trigger'Nice thing about my local Americas Tire Co. I know this is a really late replay to dead thread, so sorry in advance, haven't had time to be on here. Tires are holding up great, noise isn't bad at all, seem to be wearing well. I can't complain about the traction at all, good in the snow, rain, & mud (yeah, I said MUD) 18,000 miles on them after the first year.
