Looking for window tinting tips

Post by Lancer »

I've decided to try my hand at tinting my windows and was wondering if anybody has any good tips for me. What are the best steps I should take to get the best results.

My tip is get it professionally done. A friend of mine at work did it himself and it really looks bad. Bubbles, dirt and it's not cut right. If you do it wrong or it doesn't turn out the way you want and you have to remove it, it is extremely difficult. This is just my opinion though.

I agree --Plus, if you encounter any problems with a pro install, they'll be responsible for correcting it at no charge to you.If you screw it up yourself, it will cost you extra time, and extra money for supplies too...

well tint is a hard job look at it this way one box will do 2 sidewindowsi did my vibe and wasted 4 boxes before i got it rightmy advise take the door panels off so u can get it below window felts, take your time have sharp blades, lots of soap mix, let it dry 1 day and use hair dryer to help dryingi spend 60.00 may have saved 150 butanother thing the back window is impossable for meso i might have one of the tint people do it,best of luck

i would just take it somewhere. i "attempted" to tint a older pickup of mine a few years back, and after several hours of anger. i went back inside without tinted windows. the best part, is if you find the right place you can get a great warranty.
