i miss having hids in my car =/ in my pursuit for better lighting i recently put some HIR bulbs in my car but i really want to put hids in my vibe. right now i can't find spare headlights to buy so i can put some tsx projectors in there again. my accord had a tsx retrofit (actually went thru 5-6 different kinds of projectors for the accord) and my maxima had a tsx projector retrofit too even tho it came with factory hids, but it was reflector based. i am so desparate for hids i might take the plunge and just stick a plug and play kit in there till i get a retrofit lol but i've been holding back for a while now because i know it will create glare and stuff...and i always tell people to do it right and get a retrofit.anyways, i've seen pics of hid kit on the first gen vibes and the cutoff wasn't too bad but there was still glare. has any 09 vibe owners put hids in their car yet? you guys think i should just get a plug and play kit first or just wait till i find spare headlights and do a retrofit?
I just found a kit for the vibe. $45 for the foglights, and about $65 for the headlamps. Currently looking into possible heat issues. (Family member had fog lenses melt on a grand prix with HIDs) Anyone have any insight?

you're probably first...well i'm not getting plug and play hid kits anymore...don't want to have glare and hotspots and stuff. i'm just going to do it right and get real hid projectors...this is going to be one expensive project =/ i already ordered a set of oem headlights from GM to work on...man it's like $500 for a set of oem headlights anyways the end results should be well worth it i hope
