Stupid bumper question

Post by kunkstyle »

So I was shopping around for a bumper (as per my other thread about trying to take it off...), and a thought occurred to me:Is it possible to get an 03/04 front bumper on an 05+? I much prefer the 1st gen style, and since I'm replacing it anyways...I found one other thread of a similar fashion but with no definite answer. Has anybody tried this? The lines look like they'd match up, but as I've got no access to an 03/04 I can't tell for certain. Thanks to anyone who chimes in.- - - edit - - -After using the search feature without spelling/typing problems... it looks as though the mounting points are the same. However, will the fogs and everything else still line up?

try is and let us know... don't be a wuss. Honestly they should but you will need the impact foam under the bumper as well.

yes, be the guinea pig!! I agree with you totally about liking the 03-04 styling better than the 05+. This is something that I have always been curious about, but the thought never left my mind.

That's some encouragement from a few guys who have probably forgotten more about vibes than I'll ever know. I'm going to price it out this weekend.
