I have a USA-Spec kit to install in a 2006 Vibe. What is the easiest place to route the aux and Ipod connector?I see some space in the glove compartment but I'm not sure if it will close once I get the cables through. And if there is a better place, where should I route them?I also saw someone who kept the USA-Spec module in the glove compartment so he had access to it. Is this recommended?
When I installed an Aux2Car in my girlfriend's Vibe, I ran the aux cable down through the lower shifter console, across the approx 6" bit of carpet between the front and center consoles, then under the center console. I drilled a small hole in the center console next to the secondary 12V outlet, and ran the cable through there. It's long enough that she can keep her iPod in arm's reach if needed, but the iPod and cable can be tucked back inside the console when she leaves the car, so no one sees it from the outside. I also like that the 12V outlet is right there in case she needs to charge it.

I've tried mine in the glove box, but that is just a hassle if you're going to take it out of the car with you. That compartment under the shifter is rather easy to route the cable to and is quite convenient to access.
you could also route it under, and into the center console. Toward the center-front of the console there is a fabric type tape that you can just pop a hole in and to bring the wire in to the center console.Aron
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
