Adding an amp and sub to an 09 vibe...

Post by safooma »

09 base, no moon & tunes.I want to add an amp and sub. Two questions:What can I use as a remote turn on lead for the amp?Where should I route the main power wire from the battery through the firewall?Anybody done this already and can give me some advice? Thanks!

It's a little early yet to have people modding the audio, but, If you look at a few of the other threads, you should be able to find the PAC unit needed to intigrate to the factory head unit... You would be far better off with an aftermarket HU though... As far as routing the wire, look brotha..

You can order a new interior body panel that will accomodatea sub woofer. It's about $200 and you can get it from the dealer or a body shop. It installs in the rear, passenger side of the cargo area near the wheel. It has a little more volume inside of it and a mounting hole for the driver.
