Headlight covers for 09's

Post by MountainMax »

does anyone make those headlight covers that just leave two openings for the headlights to shine through and cover the rest? it makes the cars look like they have 4 separate round headlights? i think these wold look great on the new Vibes?

Covers? Probably look cool but with covers would they still pass FMVSS? The lights perform at different angles and need to project a certain amount of light at different angles. If you cover those up and you don't get the right amount of light in the right places, you might make your lamp non-conforming. If you find the covers, you might ask them about this. Just to "cover" your a$$.- Jim

The covers im talking about have large holes to let the light through not blocking much but just basically covers the surround of the light to make them look smallerSomething like on this car>

I was thinking of making them out of vinyl but it would be tricky around the signal light area....
