So, I waited until Sunday to clear out our driveway. I thought since the city plows had already cleared our neighborhood, it'd be safe enough to run the snowblower. (1st, a neighbor stops me to let me know that only the right side auger is turning on my blower (rock stuck in the left auger). So, I hobble along with only half a snowblower clearing out our driveway and two sidewalks (gotta love a corner-lot).So, here we are, Monday morning. My wife is ready to go to work, I'm just about ready to take our daughter to daycare, when I see that the plow had come by AGAIN, and blocked our driveway with TWO feet of snow. The streets were clear, there was no reason for them to come out again. Lucky for me, it was all frozen blocks of snow, so it was like shoveling gravel instead of hacking away at a frozen drift. I got my morning workout anyway.Just wanted to vent, thanks.

I hear ya!The plows did the same to me Fri evening, about three feet in every drive. I did the end of my drive and two neighbors since I have the biggest thrower on the street. The one neighbor returned the favor with a bottle of Champagne the next day! I hate the snow so much I have two throwers. One 25 year old Toro that never stops but is really the equivalent of a shovel I use for 1-2 inches and then a larger 2 stage, 3 year old, for the deep stuff.

Yeah they were trying to get closer to the curb. It wouldn't have been a problem if I'd noticed it about 20 minutes earlier. The city will issue a 'snow alert' which means you can't park on the street until it's cleared from curb to curb. I figured that since they already plowed Sunday morning, they weren't coming back on Monday.Being on the corner, the plow seems to dump a lot more in our driveway after they've turned the corner than in other driveways.

Something you can do about that... it's xtra work, but if you run the snow blower up the street 20ft to the left of your driveway, you'll get very little IN the driveway... I wondered why my parents plow guy did that, till I saw the county plow go by and they don't have anything in the drive to shovel...
