04 Vibe Driver Door Master Window Switch Panel Trim

Post by Tarfu43 »

The plastic trim assembly around the drivers side master window switch panel had the lower tab break off, so the entire panel is loose. The dealer wants $60 for this hunk of plastic! Is there an online dealer that sells these at a reasonable price? Napa maybe? Thanks in advance!

auto salvage yards usually charge 50% of the price of a new part. can you fix it yourself?...maybe some epoxy.

I'll probably try and fix it, although it may be a challenge, as the plastic tab that broke off is missing. I'd sure hate to go crawling back to the Pontiac dealer hat-in-hand to order another one. (They already ordered me one before, but I refused to take it because I was apalled when I found out the price. I didn't ask before ordering, since I assumed it would only cost $20 or so. Hey, it's just a hunk of plastic!)
