I recently read an article warning that the toilet seat should not be left down because little boys like to mimic the big boys and stand up to pee - so to do that they raise the seat but can't get the seat up completely where it will stay - then the seat falls down and mashes their you know whats and a trip to the ER ensues. The Consumer Product Safety Commission will probably soon draft a toliet seat standard to requrie a mechanishm to make the seat descend slowly. Or perhaps the full rim toliet seats will be banned. Only allow sale of those commercial ones that look sort of like a horseshoe.More than you wanted to know I am sure.
