Error Code Too Lean po171
Hi All, About a month ago the check engine light came on. Used a friends scanner and determined it was error code po171 Too Lean (Bank 1). He reset it and off I went. The light came back on Thursday. Friend came over today and same code. The car seems to be running fine. The car is a 2005 Vibe non-turbocharged, automatic transmission. Any infothoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

do you have an Cold air intake on it? do you often red line?

It's actually my parents car, so not sure of all the specifics, but do know that it is stock (no mods). So I don't think it has a cold air intake, and no redlining

My first cure for any injector, fuel mix code is to run a tank or two of TECHRON. It's worth a try, cheap and cleans the injectors etc.
