Seat Construction and Seat Heat 2009

Post by Y2KR1 »

Hey Group,I was wondering if anyone has taken a seat apart from a 2009 Vibe. Pictures would be very helpful to get me started. I have a 2009 1SC on order and would like to put seat heat in as I am in Canada, it's -4C today and we will be getting about 8" of snow tonight.I work for one of the worlds largest OEM global seat heater supplier. I was thinking of developing a system for the Vibe as it is not offered from Pontiac to offer to the Forum. I have various GM approved components that could work nicely.

We also do heated steering wheels for higher end vehicles like Cadillac, Audi, Benz, Porsche and others. The heated steering wheel technology is great but not easy at all to retro fit an existing vehicle. To many safety related concerns and the clock spring or ribbon just cant handle the power required to support the needs.
