Almost got jumped... (serious)

So I went to the mall today to finish christmas shopping, and I saw this on kid (we got into an argument like a month ago). We made eye contact, and thats all, he was the one saying he was going to kick my *** and **** though. So I was like, what ever, and continued shopping. I realized that him and his friends were following me around. I was like, alright, I went into a store, and lost them. I came out and my friend came up to me and told me not to go to my car, there are 4 (more) kids out there in an another car waiting for me. So this comes out to about 5-7 kids wanting to jump me. But I had to get to my car, so me and him started walking out to my car, somehow, they are all there. They just glanced over every once in a while. I was like, alright, I got in the car and drove away. A minute or two later, I got a phone call, it was him. He started calling me a *****, telling me to come back. I was like, ;why so your friends can jump me?' He was like, 'they weren't there to jump you, they were just with me. Fight me one on one.' I'm like, 'listen, I'm not dumb, you had your chance to fight me one on one, you don't need all your ****ing friends around to fight me one on one' And I hung up, he called and left a message calling me a ***** and ****.What should I do? Oh, and btw, he wants to jump me because i said his girlfriends hair is original...Also, I took karate for 5 years, and I could have took 2-3 of them, but not 7.... =/

First off I would say try not to fight him...if you can do anything to just avoid it...do it.On the other side if he attacks you, unleash. I dont fight, but if I am attacked first...its all game. Then you are safe legalwise too. Dont stoop to his level and fight, you know he'd bring more friends anyway too.

i'm with parnell. if you don't have to fight the guy, don't fight him. he's obviously got somehting to prove to his gf. you don't.BUT, if he jumps you, then let loose. if you feel like you're in danger, defend yourself like your life depends on it, because it might.

Ya, I wasn't really planning on fighting him. I'm not much of a fighting guy either (despite weightlifting and martial arts)... I am just so mad that he thinks hes the tough guy now. I hate this little kid drama...

don't fight him. you said you took karate for 5 years, that's a good amount but still not the best. plus, you should have been taught not to use your karate unless necessary. and because you know the moves if you do end up hurting him badly you will be held responsible. now if he attacks you and you just use moves to subdue him then you are doing the correct thing. from now on don't provoke him. keep a level head. if he keeps it up, restraining order! i think that would be the best way to mess with somebody. xD can't get within 50' of a person or else you go to jail, and get areas of yourself violated.

Haha, I was thinking of going into my sports store and walking out with two baseball bats and look at their faces. =DBut, I wouldn't do that.Another thing, I was going to call the cops, and tell them to stand by in an unmarked car. Walk out by myself. They approach me and attack. Cop pulls up. WIN, law suits, dont have to worry about college. =D

Not that I am one to run and hide. But if I had 7 people waitin regardless I would have gotten the cops involved. At my mall we have a police mini sub station setup in there. Would have been easy to walk out have the cop there and he can get ballsy with the kids, why you hanging around here, get going, etc. At least then they could realize that now you have the cops involved and they are all on the watch list. Most of his buddies would probably just leave it alone at that point and tell him he is on his own.BTW how old are you and these kids? If this was some HS kinda stuff then watch out for your car too.

Sadly, I deleted the message, It's a muscle memory habit. I was so mad after I did it. But I am 17, and they are around that age. I was so mad. I was ready to see something don't to me car. I would have went ape ****. That's the first thing I checked, since they knew where my car was.

The difference between this one and the last one, is that the last one turned into a tv show. And I said its not true 2 posts below it. This is true. If you don't believe me, then fine. I have people here giving me advice, and I have my thanks for them. Even today in school. I told a few of my friends, they didn't believe it, their response was 'why would anyone want to jump you?'. I'm a nice guy who would do anything for my friends. And its karma that Josh was there, I helped him with a few problems previously, If it wasn't for him last night. I would have been in the E.R.

I've been in Tae Kwon Do for 6 years and that was what our grand master told us. along with martial arts whould be used for defense only. next time he confronts you call the police tell them your being harassed.

I took karate for 2 years but I still would advise not fighting the kid. Its not worth it.Only fight if you have to. By that I mean your being attacked and have no choice. And then fight dirty, Use a 2x4 to the face lol. I don't care. When your fighting for your life, there are no rules.

Well today was a little turn of events. I was walking to school, and he was walking the other day. I was ready for him to attack, but he looked at me and looked away. I was like... alright?At the end of the day, I closed my locker and started walking out, he was about 3 people in front of my, my friend Ian (who is a big kid) came over to me and was like, listen, if you ever think you are going to get jumped, call me, and I will bring a few people and help you out. I'm like, he is in front of us if you wanna help me talk to him. So Jarrod (the kid who wanted to jump me) turned around, saw me and Ian and started walking faster. As soon as he got out the door, me and Ian ran up and got his attention. The conversation when like this...Ian: Yo, whats your problem with Kevin?Jarrod: Nothing man, he keeps talking ****, I am getting fed up with it.Ian: He isn't talking ****Jarrod: (to me) Listen, I wont hit you-Ian: Damn right you wont.Jarrod: but why are you talking about Cathy (his girlfriend)Me: I don't talk about your girl friend, I have better things to do...Jarrod: Well if I find out that you are, be careful.Ian: Listen, If you OR any of your friends touch Kevin, I will personally beat you all until you can't think anymore*Jarrod walks away*Right now, I am going to send Jarrod a message telling him that I don't talk about Cathy, I haven't for more than 2 months now. But if he is going to try to jump me again, he might wanna rethink that, because I obviously have bigger friends and more friends...

I as reading this and was thinking...what is this? High school?....then I saw that you were 17 and it all makes sense. Hopefully, you can get everything straightened out without resorting to violence. With violence..no on wins, ever! Best of luck, Kev.

Dude just drop it. We've all been in High School, people start crap to make themselves feel big. For me it was some guy starting crap because his girlfriend was flirting with me and blowing kisses at me. As a result he constantly made threats towards me and was also a person to always hang out in large groups which led to me purchasing a 4 D cell mag-lite to keep under the seat of my truck and a collapsible baton to keep in my boot. I was always looking over my shoulder especially since he had family members in the nortenos. A had a friend who was into narcotics and he began to receive threats as well, he leveled with the person causing issues by sharing narcotics with the said trouble-maker and offering an apology on my behalf. The problems eventually disappeared. Where is the threatening male and his girlfriend now? Broke with a kid.Its not worth your trouble to bring yourself to his level and arguing on Myspace doesn't help either. If he is man enough to talk to you in person apologize to him for anything you may have said that could be construed as harsh words towards him or his girlfriend. If not get somebody else to do it on your behalf. High school drama is whack and irrelevant after high school (may seem like a long time now).
