Just finished bringing mine in for the engine light. They said it's a PO133 code. They say this code means intake leak at startup. Regarding this they showed me a document stating that the intake manifold gasket/orings could need replacement. They will order them. BUT why at just 19k on it? "Maybe the manifold is not straight, it is plastic". They said, "we'll see with a straight edge". Could it not also be a leak at the throttle body?I suspect they don't want to order a manifold. They were very nice. Especially after I saw oil all over my engine after a 2 mile drive. The tech left the oil filler cap off. I drove back with it on and informed them. The staff was very polite. And cleaned it. Just want a different tech next time. I think they may be digging deeper than needed to fix this.BUT does anyone know if this is the correct description of the code? Along with any other possibilities..UPDATE...Well, I checked in the Matrix manual. My code, which cleared and has not returned. There could be a number of causes. I asked the dealer if waiting was a good idea since it only showed this code once. He said, "okay". If it returns I will surely have something done. But any vacuum leak, lack of fuel(low press) or evap emissions issue can cause this code. So if my intake gaskets/o-rings were bad. You would think the issue should come back. Or driveability would be poor. Which it is not. We'll see what happens.

PO133 has nothing to do with the intake. PO133: O2 sensor circuit slow responce (bank 1 sensor 1)That's the first O2 sensor in the exhaust manifold on my '06.
I did not take it back to the dealer. As they had messed up my car (as stated above)and told them. If it comes back...then I may let you touch it. It's emissions and covered for 7/70. NOW 20k later the code has not come back. Also the matrix manual says it can be many things. Even the gas cap. I noted the gas cap may not have been closed properly. I had to clean sand from the rubber gasket seal. Again , no PO133 in 20k...FYI- I do know for a fact that an O2 sensor slow response can be caused by a lean condition as the dealer stated. Meaning the mass air sensor upstream it not matching the proper fuel amount required down stream. Which can be caused by an intake leak at the head/intake manifold. But as I said, no repeat yet 21k later. Unless they have magic way of making it never come up again using the scanner...."Ignore PO133". But I guess that would be violation of some major law if the code scanner had such a capability.

How do I get the dealership to listen to me?I couldn't afford 'their' O2 repair so got it done from mechanic at work. Code won't erase. 'They' told me faulty part, replaced part again, code still wont' clear. Why do I have to pay diagnosis charge again?
here...the emissions systems are a big deal. If the dealership cannot fix first time...they are bad. What are the laws up there? Here they cannot charge for any emission part for 7yr/70k miles. There are many possibilities for the 133 code. They took the obvious. They were wrong.
