Hi, new guy here...Does anybody know when the 2004 Vibe will starting appearing in dealer's lot in Canada? approximately...What would be my best bet:Wait for the 2004 models to arrive or order the model I want from my dealer?Kent
Kent:Still awaiting the arrival of 04 in Jersey...yet to see any on the dealer lots or the roads...Might be several months, my guess would tell me. Last year, I remember we had lots of Canadian members waiting months for cars to get up there.Don't hold your breath -- if you can hold off on a car, and you prefer the 04, go for it. If you are kinda desperate, I say don't wait, you may screw yourself over...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
they are here!!... i saw two 04 vibes in newmarket ontario.... one fusion base with pwr pkg... and the other blue auto.... i asked about 04 catelogues.... but they didnt have any yet.... further.. they told me that the supercharger didnt sound like a go in southern ontario region because of our stringent emmissions regulations .... too bad for us...... where are you in canada?
they have a couple in scarborough at trillium pontiac. but they said they aren't selling them right now.. think the sales guy was a (removed). I'm trying to get an '03 vibe but i'm in a lease with a 2002 sunfire, having some prob's getting out of it.. I knew i'd have to pay to get out of the lease so looks like i may have to wait 2-3 more months.. its killing me, i can;t wait. the dealer said if i wait they're may not be any '03s left and the 04 will be high interest!ARRRGHHH!! very frustrating.,.. dunno what to do...ryanPS besides all that.. yes the 2004's are here.. Fusion Orange looks awesome.
Basically what I'm asking is this...Will I get my Vibe any sooner if I order the 2004 model with my dealer or wait for Vibe to arrive in the fall I presume ?I heard through this forum that I take 4-5 months to get it if youorder ...I really don't have fancy tastesIf I order, my guess you pay for the MSRP; not much room fornegociation...Comments on this ?Besides, I need to sell my 2001 Malibu
My 04 salsa vibe was ordered on may 7th, will be in the dealer parking by the middle of august. The production date is set for july 21st. I'm just crazy to wait so long,.... My dealer is currently trying to do a trade with another dealer in Quebec. About dealing the MSRP.... ****, don't even think about it... Because it's the second car i'm getting from the same salesperson, I got a free air deflector (and I was lucky). It seem that some dealers in Montreal are selling the vibe over the MSRP when they have it on the parking lot. Some pplz are ready to pay over the MSRP to don't wait...
Basically, in the eyes of GM Canada, you are a big pain in the (removed). If you want a VIBE in Canada, you must be crazy and willing to pay anything for it and wait a ridiculously long time for it. That's how GM does business in Canada. They figure, what the hey do you want a VIBE for? Why not conform to the GM Canada marketing plan and but a Sunfire or a Grand Am? Stop bugging the poor salesman in the dealership just because you know what you want. GM Canada knows what's best for you. Buy the Sunfire, with its 15 year old design & engineering and be happy with it. Why should the saleman sell you what you want? While he's explaining to you that you'll have to wait 6 months to order a VIBE and recieve absolutely no incentives or financing breaks, his coffee is getting cold and some other jerk from the service garage has just taken his favourite donut. GM would rather dedicate more production to supplying the Japanese market with 'Voltz' that nobody wants, than increase production allotment for Canada. In the eyes of the average GM dealer in Canada, you are ignorant and rude to think you can just waltz into a dealership and buy a VIBE. C'mon now. Lower your expectations my freind. You're a Canadian.
