Well, the person who was going to buy my Vibe had a aneurysm and then passed away on December 1st at the age of 79. He was a very good friend of the family and I have known him for 25+ years. He was a very kind man who always had something good to to say about everyone. He was very active and had no problems but had a headache one evening and the next day was found unconscious on the floor. He remained unconscious for a few days, and the family had made the toughest decision in the world. Taking him off of life support. He, suprisingly woke up after a few hours, and seemed to be doing better. He got to see everyone again. Then while everyone went down for dinner and to let Wes rest, he passed shortly after. So, he wanted to see everyone again before he left.He was buying the car for his wife, but now that this has happened, she cannot afford it. So I have already refunded their deposit. Looks like I'll be hanging onto the Vibe. Anytime is never good for a loss, but especially during the holidays. All we can do is be thankful for the time we had with him.RIP Wes

My condolences... What a tough old coot though, taken off support and fought it, came back, long enough to see the people he loved and say good-bye... I could only hope for that, when my time comes...
sorry for the loss. I lost my mother the end of august unexpectedly. losses during holidays are especially hard.so are you going to mod the vibe different? like maybe a lift kit with big knobby tires?
Yeah, he obviously wanted to see everyone again on last time. He wasn't able to talk at all. All he could to is nod and squeeze his hand. Thanks Everyone. I'll be keeping the Vibe as is.

My condolences. In my years I've known other ill relatives and friends who had a "good day" during their last stage of their illness to spend with loved ones just before passing. This looks like another example of that. It's good to have that kind of closure.Today I just attended the funeral of a very good friend who didn't give us any closure so it was very hard. Probably the most difficult funeral I've ever attended.

Thanks again, guys. I wasn't originally planning on selling it. But he and I got to talking and he asked what it would take for me to sell it. When he said "Done Deal!" I was floored! He gave me a deposit right there. I am not selling it anymore, as I would never get what he offered for it. We may try to sell the Saturn next summer. We'll see.
