I used to like Metallica. Then they got all crazy with the whole downloading of music and made it a huge deal and what not. So they lost a lot of respect from me. Turns out they really only cared about the money. Lars can bite me. Oops better not use his name too much, he may sue me for that too.

I'm not a huge Metallica fan, but I do really like some of their music. I watched most of that show that ran a few years ago on MTV? VH1? (not sure which channel.) It was a behind the scenes of them recording an album... I could not believe what a bunch of babies they are. ...James Hetfields being the worst. His lyrics are dark and deep, but then you see what he's really like and it really cheapens it. I give them credit for exposing themselves like that, but I liked them better when I had the illusion that Hetfield ripped Buicks in half to warm up.

I only care for up to "and justice for all" the rest can bite me... I saw them once for the "black" tour... never again...

while definitely not my first choice in bands to go see, id be getting the tickets for free, and have an excuse to go to MI. so i cant really complain. Although yes i will admit they are a bunch of babies and theyve lost al consistency. their new stuff is mostly garbage. but im hoping they play a lot of old hits at the show

I love concerts, but be damed i'd pay to see them... If I new how many OS song they would play, that would be the only way I'd consider it.. they just lost it..

http://www.livemetallica.com/Scroll down and look at the new additions section. You can see the set list and see the differents songs they have played between the shows and such. The play about half of Death Magnetic, but they have been lpaying tons of the old stuff too. They play the perinials and switch up for the other songs as well.I'll probably get flamed but I have loved Metallica since Justice and still do!! At 8 years old, I was hooked!!! Granted I lost respect for them during the whole Napster then St. Anger crap, but I still listen to then on a regular basis. St. Anger, Load and Reload I could careless about, but who doesn't lol.

well i did not win the tickets. i came very close. part 1 of the competition you had to throw a puck from the stands onto the ice towards the radio stations logo. the 5 closest pucks went on to round 2. i got mine right on the logo. round 2 the 5 closest pucks had to go out on the ice and put together a giant 6 piece puzzle. whoever put theirs together fastest won the tickets. i suck at puzzles. but there was a kickass fight i the first 5 min. of the game so it wasnt a total loss
