...next time wipe the snow away from door before opening...it acts like a vacuum and sends a wall of snow inside the car...now my a$$ is all wet, even after wiping the snow aff the seat... That is all

hahha mine does this too! wait..the vibe did this the mazda has a different door setup and doesnt do it as bad as the vibe.

yeah it doesn't really help if the brush is in the car. that sucks

haha, very true!! but if y ou keep the brush in the cargo area, not that big of a deal if some snow falls in there. Never fails though that when my seats are down, I instinctively go through the door instead of the hatch lol. Luckily i don't sit in the back, just the people that carpool with me haha

hahahaThats why I always bring my snow brush inside when parking outside at work in the snow.

and why I leave the brush in the back seat. open the car up, take it out of the backseat (don't care if some snow falls into the backseat cause I don't sit there), and then brush off the car.

I can't remember this happening even once when I lived in Tallahassee. Thankfully it's still a somewhat rare occurence here in Southern Illinois. I feel sorry for you poor people who actually need different tires for the winter. YUK!

You can always save yourself from a wet derrière by just passing your glove gently around the door frame to take off the snow that will otherwise go in. That way you can open your door and grab the brush without incident and it only cost you 3 seconds.

I normally use my hand/arm to wipe it off from around the drivers door.

Since they got rid of rain gutters on cars to improve aerodynamics, pretty much all cars do this now.
