Drivers side window switches

Post by lovemyraffe »

Recently I haven't spent much time in my Vibe. My wife gets to drive it. Yesterday I noticed the window switches on the drivers door are loose. The entire plastic panel does not sit flush with the rest of the door. I pulled it off last night, and all the tabs are there, nothing is broken. It just doesn't fit right anymore. Anyone have suggestions about how to make it fit again?

Are you sure all the tabs are there? They are a common thing to fall apart. Mine is missing a tab and just kind of hangs there. I can't even afford to replace it right now.

Mine sits just a tad hair off to the right. There is one tab I didnt even know existed on the far left side that holds it up there. But since it is a tight fit, it is prone to snapping. I didn't even notice it until recently. I live with it, since I didn't notice it when I bought the car. It's about $35 for a new plastic piece, just not worth my time currently.
