Wow, those look really good! Much better than I thought they would look... they will pay off even if they save your door once from getting banged into by a shopping cart or another car door.

I am considering installing the body side molding to my '09 Vibe, like you did. I would like to know if anyone else besides DaakVibe had installed the molding? Or, what does everyone think of having the molding on the car? good idea or bad idea? for the style or look of the car.
its' a good idea to have side moldings...to protect the side of the car from door dings and stuff...but i like the look w/o side moldings...looks more clean and smooth.
Very nice. I like it better than stock by far!! All that blank painted metal is just too much of a target for a careless door flinger. But it really goes beyond protection from door dings. Gives your new Vibe better proportion. I'm impressed. U should do a before and after if u have a before pic.

i like! looks very oem, good job. I HATE these clean-sided cars these days, they look great when brand new but give it some time with the inconsiderate morons we have surrounding us and yikes...

At the time I was intrigued by the possibility of removing the side moldings for a cleaner look until I found out that there were holes in the front doors. In the nearly a year since then, I've grown fond of the look with the moldings and while I initially liked the clean look of the '09, the moldings on DAAKVIBE look great!

Now you got me thinking about purchasing a body side moulding kit. Nice job! I have a 2009 Red Hot Metallic GT Vibe and had the dealer put on black door edge guards as part of the deal and did not think about the body side mouldings until I got the car home. I've always had cars with mouldings and door edge guards, they saved my doors and kept them looking new. It seems the installation is pretty straight forward. Did you have any issues installing? How is the color holding up?THanks
