Speakers freezing in winter

I changed my stock speakers to Infinity's, the problem I have is in the winter that they are freezing due to humidity mostly. Could not find any areas that are leaking. Has anyone ever experienced this problem and are there any solutions?

Speakers DO get stiff in the winter, which makes them sound funny till they warm up a little, but if they are freezing up solid, you either have a big water problem or something else is wrong... If the problem just seems to be they sound a LOT different than the stockers, that's mainly due to the speakers themselves... Infinities are well know for a serious lack of mid-bass and a tweeter that'll drill a hole in your head... More info needed to help...

They do warm up after the temperature but are very distorted until then. I was told they were freezing by Future Shop installer.I had changed radio to a Kenwood MP435U and installed a Kenwood Amp KAC 8403. Any suggestions for a better speaker match.

No real recomendations, besides what sounds good to you... I do like the Pheniox Gold RSD components, they are CHEAP and do a great job from all i've read... Pioneer TS-C1720 (IIRC) are another good cheaper option... If you are after something cheaper with a good bang-for-the-buck attitude.. the biggest thing is, don't push them hard till they warm up.. you are just asking to hurt something that way... it's the dregs of winter..
