mine too..and my brother in law's 04. it's almost a salmon color. I hate it. The one on the front is fine, though, just the rears get sunfaded I guess. I'm going to buy one of those purple reflective overlays one of these days

I got some GrafxWerks overlays with the reflective stuff in them for the arrowhead, badges, brake light, and Pontiac inlays.http://www.grafxwerks.com/prod...VIBA2

For those who have kept their arrow badges on and used overlays, Ryan has an excellent product and stands behind his work. I do wish V was still around because I was hoping she was going to contact Ryan to do some overlays on her 09 Black GT.

You're lucky to have such a thrifty organized wife! She's on it! I left a comment and put it on my Bloglist.I see sale prices she listed I WISH were our sale prices LOL. (It's the shipping...makes almost every item in Safeway $4.59!)So what I do is cut coupons, wait 'til something goes on sale and take the coupon for that item...DOUBLE THRIFTY SCORE!!! LOL
I don't mind the pink. It puts me in touch with my feminine side.

It's a pointed blade attached to a handle so you can use it like a pencil. The emblem has a raised border and star, so it was fairly easy to cover it with tape and then follow the ridge.

I've been wanting to do the reflective Pontiac on the back. It's pretty expensive though and I've heard it is tricky to get each letter in straight. Do you have any tricks to get it right?

While I'm sure the sun does do damage to the emblem. The front end see's the same amount of sunlight. The Late model GTO's have the same problem except it's the nose emblem that pink's out. We've discussed this indepth and have come to the conclussion that it's not the sun. We believe it's due to the ink (dye) that is used in the Mfg of the emblems, this is why some emblems turn pink and others do not. The simplest solution is to look around at other Pontiac models for an emblem that doesn't fade and is about the same size. Then go to your local dealership pretend like your going to order it to find out the part number for that emblem and faint over the price they want for it. Tell them you'll be back, then go home get online and order it from a discount store for half the price. You save money while getting an emblem that won't fade...
