When i woke up this morning it was raining, now 15 hours later i'm going to bed and it never stopped raining. It feels much more like Spring instead of Summer.
I know what you mean. When I left Montana 3 years ago, it had always been a state where the skies would get black, the wind would blow and you'd get just enough rain to make a mess out of your car. This year when I returned, it's like a whole new place. For weeks at a time, it rains all day almost every day. All the fields around the city I live in are green. I've never seen it this way. We're getting a bit of a break now though. On another note, it's really slowing the sale of my house in Ohio! Nobody wants to go house shopping in the rain. It has been an odd year for weather.
quote: It feels much more like Spring instead of Summer. AT least it doesn't feel like Winter instead of Spring. When I got home April 5th (of this year), My area (mostly oakland county) in Michigan was hit with an Ice Storm that knocked out power for 6 days, ripped our cables (power/phone) right out of the roof of our house, snapped trees in half, bent our pine tree into a U shape so you couldn't tell which end was the top because the top was to the ground, and it took several weeks for things to return back to normal. I'd take a normal day of rain over that crap any day.
I was so lucky that weekend. Power was out all around me. But for some reason right smack dabb in Downtown Rochester was fine. But as soon has you went 400 yards up the road there was no power at all. All of the car dealerships (including Pontiac) up the road were shut down for days.....

You all should come down to Florida. During the summer, it rains everyday in the afternoon. Out of the last month and a half we have only had three days that wasn't wet somewhere in Jacksonville. I like the rain though as long as it is in moderation like everyone said earlier.Shadow Realm

We've had 10-12 inches of rain in less than 2 weeks. It rained so hard yesterday that one part of town hit the one inch an hour mark!!!!! That is a monsoon!!!! Anyone have an extra row boat I might need it.
