I have a 900 watt interior warmer that I want to mount in a safe place. My block heater has already been installed. The warmer is necessary, as early morning temperatures can easily be below -30 C for at least 2 to 3 months each year. I had one mounted under the driver's seat in my RAV4. However, it shorted out, and this replacement is bigger. Its dimensions are about 7" L x 5" W x 3" H.I'd appreciate any suggestions about a safe place for installing it. Is the space under the driver's seat adequate? The hot air is blown horizontally. I'd prefer not to use the area around the shift lever, as that's where I want to mount a transceiver.
