I'll have the feedline enter at the front edge of the passenger-side rear door, and route it through the moulding to the area near the shift lever. One further question - how did you hook up your power cable?[Modified by 935684, 8:21 AM 8/26/2002]Here is another thread that just got started you may be interested in....
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=10395But anyway to answer your question.... I just got my radio installed last weekend or so. It is actually mounted to the storage compartment door that is under the shifter. I also have a mag-mount that is just in front of the factory AM/FM antenna. I routed the coax into the rear hatch and up to the front under/behind all the trim panels. For power, I got an adapter from radio shack that goes into the power outlet in the console that has standard banana jacks on it. Then I just routed the cable through a hole that was taped up in that same location under the little "carpet" piece that is in there up to the radio. My 50W rig (Icom IC-207H) draws about 9A at full power, so there shouldn't be any issues using the power outlet. YMMV though..... At some point I would like to find a route through the firewall and run the power straight to tha battery (fused too that is), but I just don't have the time right now. Anyway... hope that was helpful, and as I said on the thread mentioned above, I will try to post some pics in the next day or so. That may be helpful to you as well....73!
