I got a group of friends together and we all went to the warehouse again last weekend. He had a few new cars there and got rid of a few cars. More pictures here: http://smg.photobucket.com/alb...art=0A few cars weren't there either. The Reventon, Ferrari 430 Scudaria, and he had a custom car at SEMA along with the Reventon. The top half is of a late 60's Camaro and hte bottom half from the door line down is of a Corvette. Beautiful car! He has a few more Corvette hybrid designs in the works as well. He is also doing more work in Lingenfelter. They just supercharged a G8 and it is pushing over 400 horsepower. It will be in Motor Trend soon. The new Skyline he was telling us that he wasn't too sure about but as he drove it home he liked it more and more and by the time he got it to the warehouse he didn't want to get out of it so he said he's getting snow tired put on it and driving it through the winter!!! How sweet is that. The red Lingenfelter Corvette has over 700 horsepower. The black Pratt and Miller Corvette is the fourth one built (Jay Leno got #1, Pratt and Miller got #2 and #3 and Ken has #4).New cars: 2009 Skyline GTR, Alfa Romeo Competizione, two Corvette ZR-1s (one is going to Lingenfelter to extract more power out of it!), Hertz Mustang, Hurst Firebird, Calloway C16 and C12 blue carbon fiber, Rolls Royce Phantom convertible, custom Ford F550 turbo diesel for transporting his cars, first 1953 supercharged Corvette (only two in exsistance, the other one is missing), Lingenfelter GTO.Pics:
How did you get into God's garage?Seriously, who's garage is that, where is it, and how did you get in? Was there someone following you with a drool mop? Those pictures make me feel tingly.
One person own all those cars????? If so waaaay too much money,I would never make it though them all I would have a massive heart attack before I got half way
Great pictures Merzbow. I for one am not sure the owner of all these fine vehicles would want the location of the warehouse publicized for certain reasons, just a thought. Unless it is a company and etc. Fine collection for sure.

True, but there are only three Reventons in private collections around the world and only two Bugatti Veyrons in Michigan so if someone wanted to know they would be able to find out who he was lol.
Man, I always love these pics Paul... What's the story on that black Vette 2/3's down the group? I see he's got a few ZR1's and a GT-R now, figured.. You should put him on the trail of the CDCFlashback.com Mustang... 67' fastback with a Ford GT drivetrain.. I could see that wedged into his collection, nicely...
lol...sorry to Break and enter in your garage He does a lot. He made the majority of his wealth from founding the company "Metropolitan Title" insurance when he was 25 years old, which he sold a few years ago. Now he took over Lingenfelter Performance Engineering since his cousin John Lingenfelter, the companies founder died a few years ago. Of course there are other investments, like the Callaway C16 in the pictures above that him and Reeves Callaway built together. Also the new-to-old Corvette hybrids he is helping with.We were talking about people's reactions to him when he's in his more rare cars on the road. He says, if he's in the Ferraris or Laborghinis he always gets thumbs up and people waving and stuff. He said when he takes out the Bentleys or the Rols Royces, no one waves, they all just look at him with a look as he described as "F*** you! You're an A** Hole" It was pretty funny.More pictures here in my photobucket: http://smg.photobucket.com/alb...art=0He has one of the first new manual Challenger SRTs

It's a nice looking truck, but it is a little out of place. Merzbow, do you know the story behind why it's there?

Yes that is a GNX, there are a ton of them around my area and they are all real too so to me they aren't that rare. There's a club of about 4 of them that go to car shows around here all the time in the summer. Amazing cars!He does need an F50 disparately. The F50 is my favorite car of all time and of all styles. I looove them. He said he is looking still but cannot find one that fits his criteria. I would go crazy if he bought one.The new Ford's I think are great and I do like the fender vents actually! A lifted F350 turbo deisel came into my shop the other day and it was beautiful. I want one so bad.The story behind the truck? The rear of it is actually like a giant flat bed tow-truck. it lowers and inclines for cars. There are no transport trucks wide enough to transport the Veyron and a couple other cars in his garage comfortably. This truck allows those cars to be transported without having to worry about hitting the rims on the side. Plus, the canopy over the flatbed can be collapsed forward to reveal to car inside of it.When the transport company came to pick up his Reventon for the SEMA show in Vegas, the idiot driver scratched one of the wheel on the car...only about 2 inches on the lip but they cannot be repaired because of the finish on them...the guy that scratched it was being an ******* about it too. Take a wild guess at how much ONE wheel on the Reventon costs to replace..............................$35,000 EACH WHEEL!

A GN is rare enough and I think of maybe no more than 5 I seen this past summer only one was worth anything, all the others were trashed

After all that, and again Merz, MUCH appreciated as always to see these collections your mom's bf has. I still would have to say my favorite is the F40, tell me he takes that out. I love that car
I have to agree. IMHO The F40 is as close to perfection as an automobile can get.I love the old Mopars, and the Lambo's, Astons, Ford GT, vettes..... but the F40 is my personal fav of that group.
So this guys name wouldn't happen to be Jim Glickenhaus would it? I know the C8 in the autoblog pictures has different rims, but meh. http://www.autoblog.com/2008/1...zione

His name is Ken. He's the new CEO of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. He was not he first to get his and his is a different shade of red as well. It's a deeper shade and looks great. The black Corvette I think you are referring to is the Pratt and Miller Corvette. Every single body panel has been replaced with their own custom panels. I mentioned in the first post, Jay Leno got #1, Pratt and Miller got #2 and #3 and Ken has #4 of the Pratt and Miller Corvettes.
And here he is taking delivery of it:http://www.prattmillerc6rs.com/gallery5.htmI love the 1996 Corvette Grand Sport! That's the car I learned how to drive a manual transmission on!All these pictures are awesome! Thanks for sharing!
I think its fine. I believe his name has been brought up before. For having that kind of money, he is a very down to earth nice guy. I think that if I had that kind of money I would be an a-hole. Lol jk
Well, his name is FAMOUS... we just didn't know what it WAS till now.. lol... I think there are PLENTY of other shady people that knows the mans name, besides us here.. lol.. If I owned his "toy box" i'd have armed guards with DOGS... lol... :looks suspiciously around:
Yes that's him taking delivery lol, Funny you found that I didn't know that picture existed. ken is the one on the right.I've said his last name like 40 times already Sublime where have you been? lol. John Lingenfelter (the one who founded LPE) was one of his distant cousins. His name is all over the place so it's fine to leave on here.
