Rode in a ZR-1

I know I just posted pictures in a separate topic but I felt that this needed it's own thread because it was so awesome.Ken brought over one of his ZR-1s the other day and took me for a ride. Holy **** that thing is fast! He lit them up at a 50mph roll in 3rd gear next to some silly kid in a convertible Trans Am and it was wonderful. In the video you can see it took off so fast my camera got confused lol.The Vette has a prototype exhaust on it by Corsa. They contacted him when he got it an offered him the exhaust system and let me tell you, my ****ty camera does absolutely no justice to how it sounds in person!!!He keeps hinting for me to find a used GTO because he wants to have his company install a supercharger on it for free so I can test it. He already has a GTO with a turbo though so I dunno. He doesn't like when I ride my bike so I dunno if he's trying to hint to me that he will buy me a GTO if I get rid of my bike??? I don't know if I would even do that though because owning a bike was a life long dream for me and it's a totally different culture than cars are.Anyways, pics and videos:

He has two of them. One of them is going to LPE soon and they are changing out hte super charger pulley and re-mapping the fuel system to get more power out of it

Let me help a little... Merz's mom is dating this uber rich guy (obviously) and are quite in love, I gather.. Well, the guy has one of the largest car collections in the country (think Jay Leno, but smaller) and often drives the new rides over to pick momz up for nights on the town or something... Paul, you are right, your camera is deffinitly having a difficult time getting the sound right... I think a upgrade is in order to allow better internetz viewing... You don't have a digi-video camera do you? I know a lot are digi now.. ? Even with the not so great sound, it gave me goosebumps... cause I know what i'm hearin...!!!Thanks..

Hey sublime I'm pretty sure Paul is just using his phone for the pics and vids cause he lost his camera. That would explain the quality.

Our buddy Dima has a sweet camera. He should take some cool pics. I couldnt tell you what kind it is, but is big and expensive lol. He has taken a lot of pics for me.

Keep it on the DL about them dating because I don't really know what they consider themselves at this point lol.Yeah I think someone stole my camera so all these were taken on my phone. It takes great pictures but horrible video for some reason. I want to finance a Rebel one of these days. I love taking pictures so I may as well spend a little on a nice camera and maybe I can make some money off it eventually you know?When the Reventon is home I will go there again just to see it lol. I want to hear it again too.NibCrom, he mentioned something about an older ZR-1, he might actaully have one that I may have missed in the pictures? I'm not sure what they look like. There's a guy up here with a 90 ZR-1 he autox's sometimes. thing is kinda scary. LOL.I tell you, I've never been a huge Corvette fan, but the new Corvettes are VERY impressive! and really, for the price, they aren't that bad. even the new C5 is putting down some very impressive numbers!

Sweet cars Heres my new ZR-1.......I wish its a buddies of mine and he just bought a GT-R a month earlier aswell both very fast cars and yes they do get with the program quickly lol, he's had the Vette lowered and tinted and new HRE wheels already.
