Bad lift bolts

I was wondering what some symptoms of having worn or broken lift bolts could be. Other than the obvious symptom of the lift fuction not working. Are there warning signs before the bolts acutally break? Thanks for any input

You might have seen this, but here's a few photos of what a new vs. worn lift bolt looks like. If you're comfortable doing it you should be able to pop the bolts out and take a look.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1993
