Well the very long awaited car is now at the dealership. I am looking forward to delivery but they don't have anyidea when that is going to be yet. I will give list of the features on the car when I get some post-delivery post-wax photos. I have asked them to install a remote starter so I am not sure I am going to get it before early next week. Here is a teaser photo with all the road dirt, plastic and stickers still on the car.
Quote, originally posted by mikey123 ». . . They definitely look better from the back than the front. . . .I couldn't agree more. My wife and I are yet to take delivery on our new Vibe. Paid for it and signed papers on October 28th, but the dealer says that our vehicle is still in transit to them. I found the car online, and it had all the options we wanted, down to the color, engine, anti-theft alarm, preferred package, and cargo cover, etc. And it didn't include needless options we would feel stupid paying for. We actually made the trek to Jersey (a totally different state) to secure our vehicle. But alas, the wait continues, even though I was told that by one salesman that the car was on the lot--he roped me into coming in without having the actual product. Go figure.Oh, and, congrats on your new ride, Racemedic. Hope you get it in hand soon. Believe me, I know how it feels. But look on the bright side: at least you've seen yours with your own two eyes. I've only imagined mine. __________________________Update: Just got a call from the dealer at 6:36 p.m., no kiddin'! Our car has ARRIVED! We pick up tomorrow morning. They said they'll take a minute to show us how everything works and they realize we were anxious. Ya THINK!Will post pics first chance I get.Nathanel
NathanelYou lucky guy... I ordered mine from a photo. picked my options from an asci screen. You are lucky enough to get yours 2 mths faster than I was able to get mine... Ordered mid Aug congrats on the car upload picks soon so we can see it
Thanks Racemedic. But the only reason it came so quickly is because it was already built and in transit. The dealer ordered the car months before with the exact same options we were looking for, so when I did a search on the Pontiac database and clicked a link that listed 50 cars within 25 or so miles of my region, one, and only one car fit the bill. So we went to Jersey to secure it, but it hadn't arrived on their lot as yet, though I was told it had.Anyway, I'll post pics soon, and chart the mileage as well.Nathanel
Wow sounds like all sorts of fun. The vibe really is a hard car to get and it is good to see that is is not a problem just for Canadians. I know people that ordered one a long way back and thier lease ran out and ended up having to pick one off the lot that was a different colour with different options. That is truly sad. I would be on them hard about your car now as they said they had it and don't. I dorve by the day my car came in and did my normal patrol of the lot looking for it and it ended up being in a service bay for the night... not sure if you could be that lucky.Best of luck with it. sounds like you have "done your time" it is time for the payout.
