windshield washer flush

I just bought a 2005 awd vibe. 97000km .Car is great. However every time temperature goes below zero, the washer fluid freezes. I live in Canada. How can I drain the tank? or can I add anything in the tank so it does not freeze. I am thinking previous owner put water in the tank. Thanks you for your help.

When it thaws out, just hold in your washer lever and let it spray onto the windshield until the tank is empty. You can buy a winter blend washer fluid that's good to -40 anywhere auto stuff is sold, walmart, costco, gas stations, canadian tire, etc.

if you don't want to waste it you can pull the pump out easily. just put a bucket or something underneath it first.
