Who is this guy?

Post by Amtron »

I was looking at pics from June '05 at the Fenton meet...I love this spoiler on the dark blue vibe on the right. Is that that Vibe on genvibe? Does any one know where he got his spoiler?

It seems that his user name is listed on the windshield after using the word "free" during a search process. "Free Style" is from Michigan, but it does not seem he has been active for 2+ years. Attached is a link to his profile that includes his email if you want to contact him. http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...=2282Myself, I am more curious on who's GT that is to the left and the one with the roof caps to the left of the GT.

That was a Cobalt SS spoiler on the roof of Freestyle's. Damron later ended up with it, I do believe. Freestyle got something else and parted that car out long ago. Is the black one with the roof caps Merzbow's?

What do you guys think of this spoiler? It's off a Citroen C2. I don't find it too offensive, and the C2 itself looks similar to the Vibe, not sure of dimensions though...potential fit with some work? This one off of http://www.ibherdesign.com/cit....htmlThen this one off of ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-...22463

Yup that black one is Merz. I actually liked freestyles vibe. He now has a maxima with a cold air intake that sounds awesome.

I actually liked Freestyle's Vibe too. at that time, it was very original. Granted, my tastes in rice then were a bit different. LOL

Yeah those were the good days when things actually happened (removed)...I can't believe how bare my Vibe is in that picture! No coils, no hood, no rims, no gauges lol...wow.I'll tell Kevin you liked his spoiler next time I see him around here. He made it himself from a Cobalt SS as stated above. He also did the hood himself too. The car looked great, and looked even better in person. He had adjustable coil overs normally set at 3in+ drop, so the spoiler didn't look as intrusive as it appears.I'm getting sick of waiting for parts for this car, I want a duck bill spoiler. I'm gonna make one, screw it! lol.Damron, every time I see your Vibe I get mad that you sold it all over again lol

lol...I actually thought you've seen Kevin's car and said that already but I guess not lol. I just think it's sweet because Subaru drivers hold their hood scoop so sacred and without any concern he went ahead and put it on his Vibe and that makes you all feel violated (removed)...I think it's pretty creative personally

(SP?) lol... or maybe sacrilige(SP?)...lol... I don't hold any love for the STi scoop really, it's HUGE (tall) and once you have a FMIC, it's doesn't do anything but block the view... I like my small scoop... and even WITH a FMIC, it still functions to cool the engine along with my side vents...
