Tire pressure sensor reset... what am I doing wrong???

A week after I got my '09 GT, I reset the TP monitor, just for something to do. Worked first time, no problems. I've since increased the air pressure & want to reset it again. I swear I've tried 20 times & it just won't work. What am I doing wrong? Anyone else have the same issue? Thanks

need more info, please.why don't you think the reset is working? does the light keep coming on?

The manual says that if the indicator light doesn't blink three times when holding the button down after a reset, the reset wasn't successful. I gots no blinks.

Is there any indications that the spare tire has a sensor in it?

I cant get my light to go out either, any help on this? I have followed the manual.

Also this wouldn't make sense when the tires are slipping, as you would trigger the inflation sensor. I've replaced one of these before, I believe they work on actual pressure.

I could be very well be wrong. My Olds Alero had tire pressure sensors and that is how they worked. And, like you said, I would get false readings on occasion. On long patches of rough road the light would come on. I would check the pressures and they would all be fine. That particular sensor did not measure actual pressure.

Up till 08 they are based on rotation speed, not actual pressure. They may have changed that for 09 I have no idea. I thought I read on the boards here for the older Vibes you have to be driving and hit the button and not slow down for a certain number of miles.
