I was very lucky to not be killed. The guy ran a red light and t-bone me going 60mph! I am being treated for the whiplash and am having trouble with my left leg and foot. But I get to wake up every morning and that I am very thankful for!

Good idea for a thread. Something interesting finally lol.I just got a massive surge or hatred when I recapped my accident lol. For one, because I was rear-ended, and two because all the road salt on my car reminded me of how much I hate winter...and we get to go through it again soon I cant wait to see how many times I get hit or come close to it this winter by all the IDIOTS on Michigan roads...Anyway, here was my baby's wound from February of this year:

Compared to the white Vibe..... mine is just a small scuff in the door!! Yeah winter will be here soon! I love the winter weather... call me a sick puppy, but I love to drive in the snow, always have. Yes, must stay positive! There are so many people that are worse off then me. I try to think of any aches and pains as proof that I'm still kickin' !

I have to admit... these Vibes are pretty tough! At least as far as the structural integraty of the passenger compartment goes. Not only would I own another... I do! I may replace my 04 when money is a bit better and might go the Supercharged 5 speed route this time.

In comparison to those above, ours is just a scratch. Happened yesterday to my wife when traffic suddenly slowed on the freeway. She just got the Vibe stopped in time but was then hit by a BMW which was in turn hit by an SUV and one other car. Only damage to the Vibe were some scuffs on the back bumper and the bumper was pulled loose. Two of the other cars involved, incl. the BMW, ended up being towed away.

Here's the '04. My wife and daughter hydroplaned, hit a rock wall at about 60mph and rolled several times, stopping on the roof.[IMG][/IMG] They had minor injuries. That's another reason we bought the '06.

I believe that spider story for sure. My ex was driving her Grand Am which had horrible alignment (had to hold the steering wheel at a 60 degree angle to keep the car straight and you could not let go of hte wheel or it would cut to the left) on I-75, traveling about 85+mph. I was dozing off every now and again, She screamed, I opened my eyes. A spider touched her arm in the car so, screaming still, SHE LET GO OF THE STEERING WHEEL DOING 85 MPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As she let go of the wheel the car bolted to the left across three lanes of traffic and rocketed towards the cement median before I was awake enough to comprehend what was going on. So I grabbed the wheel as it was heading for the fourth lane. I am so glad I wasn't asleep yet and SOOO lucky that no one was in the other lanes or we would have been dead for sure....all because of a stupid spider that was not even an inch big. That was the first time I ever yelled at anyone in my entire life. I almost killed her myself!Sorry for hijacking your thread, that crashed Vibe because of the spider reminded me of this story.

Hello all. It's been a couple years since I have posted. I unfortunately can post in this thread. On February 6th 2008 I was on my way to work and a person lost control on ice cover road and hit me head on. I never seen it coming! I was rushed to the hospital with neck and back injury. I'm doing good, but took over a year to get feeling back in my feet. Some of you remember me and some don't. Just had to stop by and say Hi!

I bought a used 2001 Pontiac Montana. It was one of them deals you can't refuse or turn down. What it looked like after I installed my springs.
