I know that the ads pay for the site -members don't.However, I don't think the operator of this site should accept false advertising.I am referring to a boxed ad that appeared in the upper right corner saying"Congratulations - You have won our hourly prize. Click the OK button to claim it before time runs out."I am 99.99% sure there is no "hourly prize", and in fact there is really no prize in the expected sense of winning something for free. The ad is literally false. It is deceptive and misleading. If the FTC and/or State Attorny Generals had the resources to go after all the crooks running false ads it wouldn't exist.Just as the prositutes would not exist if not for the Johns, these false ads wouldn't exist unless the advertising venues, hungry for revenue, assisted in their dissemination. Next think you know we will be seeign ads here for "pills promising weight loss without dieting", "bust enhancement creams", etc. etc. A plea to the people running this site - don't be a John!

I have never seen that particular ad on this site...I usually end up with a Cars Direct ad. I'm not sure who controls the advertising -- more than likely not Nick, and definitely not any of the mods, so there may not even be anything we can do.
Perhaps it is a "package" of ads sold by someone. I guess putting up with it is a small price to pay to assure funding to keep this site running. Hopefully most people are smart enough to recognize it for the scam that it is.

I didn't click to claim the prize, since I will be independently wealthy just as soon as I get a transfer of funds from my Nigerian banking connection!
