??about programming remote

I was recently told the Vibe remote can only be programed by the dealer or a locksmith, is this true? If not, has anyone done it here? Thanks!

I believe you can program them yourself, you just need the original one to do it but i'm not sure how it's done.

What year is yours? If it's a 2009, not sure how that is accomplished.But if it's a 2003-2008, here you go!
