GM Card Bonus Earnings

Post by jake75 »

In the mail today I received an offer of $750 added on to my exisiting $1,600 GM Card earnings if I bought an eligible new 08 or 09 GM Vehicle by 10-31-08. It looks like most GM models including the Pontiac Vibe, Saturn and Hummer are included - excludes the Z06 and ZR1 Corvettes.Sorry - it's not transferable.

When I bought the 08 Vibe in May, the dealer said there was $1000 limit on the GM Card. That was when they were giving the big rebate plus the GM loyalty bonus if you traded in a GM. I had $1300 on my card, and they thought only $1000 would apply, but GM approved the total $1300. So between the rebate, loyalty bonus, and GM card, I saved about $5000 off list. Not too bad, but they only gave me $7800 for my 05 Cobalt with 36K miles.PS...The Vibe is a million times better than the Cobalt!!!!

With this deal I was getting a little interested but it seems the rebate on the 09 Vibe is only $500. I thought it was $1,000.

Before we got ours I was watching the website 'current offers' and it changed $500 or $1,000.

GM Card Bonus Earnings

Post by jake75 »

I have about $500 in GM Card Earnings as I used my prior balance in Jan 2009 when I bought my 2009 Vibe. I got an e-mail a few day ago saying I was being offered up to $3,000 in bonus earnings - offer good until 11-1-2010.Well on most GM vehicles it is only $1,000. The Cruze, Equinox and Terrain is only $500, The $3,000 is on the Cadillac Escalade and $1,500 on Cadillac CTS, DTS and STS.
