Grill block for improved MPG

Post by p8md »

I know I read a post AND saw pictures but I have searched this website with no luck. Someone had fabbed a thin piece of sheet metal to fit behind the grill to help improve MPG. I was curious of the outcome but I can't find the post. Can someone help?

behind the grill? Id think it would need to be on the front to improve aerodynamics. Blocking them will raise heat levels inside the engine bay and could block air from touching the radiator though...the increase in mpg would be none to ultra minimal though if that was one of the only mods done.
