Adding Foglights to 2009 Base Vibe

Post by Merlin.TRD »

Hello all,I recently purchased a base 2009 Vibe, however I didn't want to spend the extra several thousand for the package with the foglights. I do however love the look and purpose of fogs (all my previous vehicles had foglights). Is there an aftermarket kit for the 2009 Vibe yet?(I'm guessing no)I contacted the dealer and they want $125/per light (which isn't "too" bad) but they want $897 for the wiring harness!!! So I'm thinking of just buying the lights, and making my own and tie it into the lights via a relay (and/or maybe a button in the car). For 2009 Vibes with foglights, is it a button somewhere on the car or a switch? If so where... just curious. Thanks,

The turn signal has a small ring/switch/thing you can turn to switch them on and off.

Thanks for the quick reply.... in that case I'll probably just install a button somewhere.Unless someone knows of an aftermarket kit?

On the Pontiac website, and on the car stickers I looked at, it was a separate $135 option. My 2009 didn't come with them, and I too was wondering about having them put in.
