Mounting aftermarket tweeters

Post by ~MRVIBE2006~ »

I have an 2006 Vibe with the M & T set up with the tweeters in the corner in front of the door window. This is called the window sail correct? If so, where can I get the regular window sail (without the screen) so I can make a custom mount for new tweeters (mine are blown). Would a junk yard be a good place to look first? Also, any suggestions on a tweeter? I currently have Polk door speakers and a Alpine HU. I was thinking about staying with Polk but if there is a better one out there, I am open to suggestions. Also, is there anything special that I need to be worried about when I put them in? Any special wiring? Thanks in advance!
