well pro-karts are fast and fun, but can be costly unless we have enough people for a "group buy" kind of thing. Mini golf is cheap and fun. So I think it depends on what the general consensus is for spending on this. Maybe do something more organized than last time too. ie:10am meet11am go eat at blah12pm go mini golf for 2 hours2pm mini golf more? take planned cruise? go kart?etc.

I was just chattig with BC about this last night and I have IM'd Schroeder but just about the posibility, no dates suggested. I'm not in a position to suggest a date, its easier for me to work with when, a date is set. We have a great gruop of people here lets get it going before Ol Man Winter gets here. Mini golf is fun and affordable, go cart are fun and slightly less affordable, Valley Fair is out for me unless we can put out cars on the roller coaster tracks. groups don't always work out, with people left off rides while others go. not intimate friendly, as a group.

What? If it was only a few of us and we were all located up in the northern metro, then we could change the location to be closer so all of us won't have to drive an extra 45 minutes just to meet. We'll see by the end of this week if anyone else is going to make it. If no one else does, we could just do an install meet for my lowering springs...lol...

I won't be able to make it at all this month. Between working both jobs, trying to find a job to replace one of em, and just so many other things goin on, September is just bad timing for me.

Maybe next time, Breezd. So true, Brent. This will be my 4th time...lol..My post from Keith's dropped thread:Quote »1) Hotchkis (3"+ drop - on the AWD as it sits 1" higher than the 2WD stock...lol)2) Back to OEM3) Modified OEM and reinstalled (gave me a 1" drop rides much smoother than stock good handling too)4) Canuck Motorsports - COMING SOON - (Should provide the best of all worlds for the AWD with a better looking drop, a nice smooth ride (for a drop), and great handling like the Hotchkis)Local Install meet anyone??? Should only take a couple hours by myself...lol. It will probably take longer with more people but who cares!!! lol.

Of the two days......I wouldn't be able to make the 13th as I will be out of town for work. Guess that defaults it to the 27th for me....nothing on the calendar yet, however I am not 100% sure if the wife has something pencil'd in her mental calendar yet.

anybody ever think about doing a "winter" meet........meet at a ski hill and do tubing for a couple of hours (bring wife and kids if they so choose) and then grab a bite to eat?Just an idea.....with all the salt...yes it kills the just washed look of the car, but it's still a fun time.Just a thought I'd toss out.Steve

Since we are talkin about winter, does anyone have some 15" or 16" rims for sale for winter use. I would prefer a set of steels. Let me know I would be willing to pick up.

Your best bet would be Craigslist, Fleet Farm or Discount tire. But your request should be in a new thread if your serious about it so people can see it..

Sorry, this has been cancelled due to lack of interest, participation & timing. The OP has not even bothered to respond and she started this thread. Oh, well. Maybe next year. Problem is no one "REALLY" wants to take the initiative to plan one out they just want it to happen and maybe show up if nothing better is going on. I have been there and done that several times. I'm done with that. Some one else needs to take the reigns and start planning one. If not, well then we will never have another meet. It's that simple. I'll attend if one is planned but am not going out of my way to make it happen, again. Maybe we'll get some new blood around here that'll want to meet. This isn't only here on GenVibe. Same issue on 9thGenCorolla. There are several people that want to have a meet but no one wants to do the planning for it. Matrix Owners have never expressed and interest in their own meet around here so they are kind of grouped in with the Vibe owners as far as interest goes. So, I'll be watching to see if another meet is ever planned and I would love to attend, if nothing better is going on.
