Any opinions out there on this? How much does it cost?

You would be FAR better of getting a cheap set of snows man... I know it's extra expense, but in the end, it will be cheaper to just get some snows if you are worried..

Never heard of it before, but this company describes it and talks it up as a miraclehttp://www.lesschwab.com/siping.asp but they seem to be left coast
