So I just got Emily back from the shop. And I noticed as my dad was driving down the street, my driver's side fog light was out!!!! I thought maybe I had forgotten to replace the bulb when I installed the CAI or something...So I stuck my hand up there, and nope, the bulb was in. Hmm. So I removed the whole assembly. Well looky here! THE WHOLE BULB WAS SHATTERED! My SilverStar bit the dust. And I think the dealer service dept did it, but I have no way to prove it...and even if I did, I can't go *****ing to them because of the "relationship" my family has with them. So my question is...does anyone know how to remove the whole fog assembly? I need to get out the broken glass that is in there, and was hoping to do it tonite so I can pick up a new bulb on my way to Boston tomorrow. Thanks guys. You rock.

Thanks so much Nova! That REALLY helped me out! I got the assembly out in a snap, and was able to shake out the broken glass. It's not quite so easy as they say though...there's a little button on the rear of the assembly you have to kinda push through...other than that, it pops right out. Thanks again dude, saved the day!

Yes, it's on the back of the lamp assembly itself. You should be able to see it if you look up under the bumper. I think it just pulls off. I changed out my fog bulbs without removing the whole lamp assembly..just laid down in front of the car, reached up... pulled the connector, and pulled the bulb.I don't remember the exact procedure, because I did it last July..but it can be done without removing the whole foglamp..

Lay on your back looking up under the bumper, reach up and twist the connector counter-clockwise about 1/4 turn and pull out gently. The bulb just pulls out (I think). To put the connector back push it in and twist clockwise.
I just changed on of my fog lamps tonight. It was fairly simple. I replaced it with a GE High Output bulb and it is no brighter than the stock ones.

Two of the stock bulbs are GE, two are Sylvania. IIRC, the fogs were GE. I bet you bought the same bulb provided from the factory! EDIT: Ah well, I got it backwards. Stock heads are GE bulbs, stock fogs are Sylvanias. Unfortunately, in either case, it doesn't tell me the model of the bulb.
