Aluminum spoiler?

Post by Celtic_Curse »

Do you think it would look retarded to slap on an aluminum wing right behind the antenna? you see them on all the Imports wonder what you all think about it?

Personally ... yes.Of course, I have a problem for putting any kind of wing like that on any vehicle that doesn't need the downforce generated. Hell, I even greatly dislike the upper wing in the Vibe sports package, it just looks too much like something you would put on the back of a trunk.I am personally waiting for a spoiler design that seems to extend off of the roof of the car, sorta like seen here: It just flows better, and looks nicer too...of course, then there comes trouble with the rear liftgate and who knows if it'll ever be built.just my 2 ¢

I agree all around. rear wings to create down force on the back of a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE car. Why GOD why? If you want more traction go for wider front wheels and a hydraulic (sp) wheelie bar to lift the rear up. Now that is something practical for every one!

If it's one of those stupid wings that looks like it should be on a sprint car or rally car, no. They look stupid on anything but those, specially street cars. I've seen them on a 3 cyl metro! LoL
