Posts in the right topics

Post by Whelan »

I know I've been a culprit here and there, but it seems a bunch of people have lately been posting in other forums. i.e. wax questions in the exterior forum, people looking for others from a certain area of the US in the lounge instead of the states and countries area. etc.Sorry for noticing, maybe I'm just bein a stickler on this or maybe we just got a bunch of new members recently it appears.

This would be a case where you would want to report any such posts to a moderator to be moved. We all have regular jobs and occasionally miss threads. For one thing, I don't have a computer at home right now so this severely hinders MY ability to keep tabs on the site.

It seems to be a mistake by some members and it does happen, it is not done intentionally. The one example you used is close to your heart, so maybe it was bothering you a little. To be honest, if you if you scroll down through the forum and see exterior, it says anything ON the exterior of the vehicle. Wax does go ON the exterior of the vehicle. I could easily see someone scrolling through, seeing that, and then posting the thread since washing, waxing, and etc is pretty far down there and not seeing it. Remember, just because there are new members, it does not mean they are new to forum etiquette and posting. Everyone does make mistakes, no harm no foul some say.

I move threads when I see them in the wrong forum. But like millster said, we don't catch them all and feel free to report any that we miss.
