Hi Everyone - Nice to meet you.I have placed an order for a base FWD, 1.8L engine Vibe with an optional 4 speed automatic on August 11 with the 0% financing.Today I read on your wonderful site about this $500 cash back.The $500 cash back is on what type Vibe exactly? I'm trying to find out if it would be worth modifying my order.Thank you guys in advance -you're great.

In the US it is on all 2009 Vibes. There might not be any rebate in Canada - if there is I'd bet it also would be on any 2009 Vibe.

You get the $500 rebate when you upgrade to the 2.4L engine. I ordered mine last week and the sales person mentioned the rebate after I told her I wanted the 2.4L

Is this an Alberta only rebate? I bought my car with a 2.4 last week and there was no mention of the $500 rebate.

Did you get the base vibe and upgrade to the 2.4L? Maybe the rebate is only valid for base vibes buyers who upgrade to the 1SC package? She didnt exactly explain the rebate to me, she just told me I would be getting another $500 off when I upgraded to the 2.4L with the 1SC package. On my order sheet she scribbled down "less $500 - Credit for 2.4L engine"
