PIE GM12-POD/S in 2005 M&T Vibe - Help

Post by Tensen1 »

I connected this device to the brown (ground) and Blue/White (+12 constant). The Head unit does not recognize it at all and the iPod does not even charge.I saw in another thread mention of the head unit being "programmed" (or not programmed) for a CD changer. Anyone know about that? how does one accomplish this programming? My vibe does not have a CD changer OR XM. It does have a BAND button. The instructions say to switch to the PIE unit with the BAND button. Other notes in these Forums say to use seek up/down. I have tried all of these.Any other ideas? Thanks in advancePaul

Did you plug anything into the head unit?
