What wheels will fit (looking for winter rims)

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there's a list made up of wheels we can use on our vibes that also have the correct backspacing? I'm gonna be hitting up Craigslist looking for rims to slap snow tires on. I have the 16" factory rims on my Vibe and I'd like to get wheels that won't throw off the speedo/odometer. 15 or 16" it doesn't matter. Any recommended combinations that maintain the stock diameter? Thanks

15" corolla rims could be used with out issue.

I know for a fact that my Subaru steel winter wheels fit... as long as the wheels are 5x100 bolt pattern and ~35 in offset you should be golden..

I'm running 15" steel rims and 195/65/15 Michelin X-Ice Snow Tires. It's debateable but I feel that they're better in the snow and they are less expensive than the OE size 205/55/16. The diameter is virtually the same as 205/55/16 tires so you're speedometer will register the same mph/kph/miles/km/whatever.Oh, and I got these rims off of my VW New Beetle.

standard 16" steels will do the trick.

i have 17in rims as long as the total diameter of the wheel with the tire mounted is the same as it was stock you wont have a problem with the gauge being off. bigger rim + less tire = same gauge read out smaller rim + more tire = the same idea. a few inches difference wont throw your gauge off too much any way

15" Corolla wheels with 195/65/15 tires are the way to go. The tires are a lot cheaper in that size and narrow and tall are better for snow.

I have a line on some chevy beretta rims that are 5 X 100. Should they work?

Check the offset. You may need hubcentric rings if the center bore is a different size but thet're only about $15.00.

That's a no go on the Beretta rims. They don't come close to fitting over the brake calipers. I now have 4 205/60/15 snow tires with no rims.

Find different rims... Suggestions were made, hit up a junkyard... gotta be a wrecked vibe or matrix with them somewhere.. or a subie, or a corrola
